A 20-year-old Access database became one controlling app for every contract

One cloud database everyone logs into
A steel-assembly contractor ran job costing in a Microsoft Access file installed on each PC. Contracts, hours, invoices and wages lived in separate tables, no two copies agreed, and the owner could not see whether a contract was actually making money.
A single cloud app that imports the old Access data and replaces it: contract register with plan vs. actual, work hours, incoming and outgoing invoices, wages, cost plans and a cash-flow projection. Role-based access, deadline notifications, and CSV/PDF reports that replaced the old printouts.

Every month the office read scanned shift schedules and hand-computed hours, night and Sunday surcharges, holidays and overtime for a security workforce across dozens of sites. Three working days, every month, with errors that reached the accountant.
A desktop app that turns the monthly schedule and the hourly-rate sheet into the accountant's payroll workbook. It walks every shift in 15-minute slices, handles both DST nights, applies 18 surcharge rates, detects overtime against the monthly hour fund and flags unknown employees or shift codes before anything is generated. Run history feeds a dashboard, per-employee views and a monthly recap.
Payroll runs in minutes with cent-exact results verified against the accountant's reference sheets. Shipped as a one-click Windows installer; no server, no cloud, data stays on the office PC.

Technicians came back from site visits with voice memos and scribbled notes. Turning them into billable reports took the back office days. Invoices waited, knowledge got lost.
A multi-tenant service-intelligence platform. A spoken job memo becomes a branded PDF: transcribed, customer auto-filled, spare parts priced, drive time costed, delivered to the customer and billing, then folded back into the knowledge base. An on-site AI assistant answers from the company's own manuals and history, with every answer cited, and recurring failures become micro-courses.
No documentation delays holding up invoices, and know-how stops leaving with the technician. Whole stack hosted in the EU: Frankfurt database, EU transcription, EU LLM endpoint.

One QR code on the table, and every guest gets the wedding photos
Drive links chased through group chats
One printed QR card on the table
Wedding galleries were delivered over ad-hoc links and drives. Couples fielded "can you send me that one?" for months, photographers did unpaid admin, and venues had nothing to offer after the big day.
A gallery platform built around a printed QR card: guests scan, leave an email, and get the link the moment photos are ready. No app, no login. Photographers upload straight to storage, where every photo is resized to a web-resolution WebP and thumbnailed automatically, and guests can have the whole gallery mailed to them as a zip. Couples book and pay on one page, which provisions the gallery itself; admins run the rest from a single panel.
Guests get every photo the day the gallery opens, in the language their phone is set to. A booking turns into a live gallery without anyone touching the admin panel.

Two Excel sheets that never agreed
One audited ledger with signed handovers
A security company tracked uniforms and equipment in Excel: one sheet for stock by size, another for who had signed out what. Numbers drifted, sizes were free text, and nobody could produce a clean handover document.
A web portal with a stock matrix by article and size, goods receipts, issues and returns to workers, and a per-worker card. Every stock change goes through one locked, audited transaction; documents are numbered gap-free and cancelled by reversal, never deleted. Signed handover PDFs, Excel exports, low-stock alerts and admin/staff roles.
One source of truth for stock and holdings, a printable handover form for every issue, and a full audit trail. EU-hosted, with worker data treated as sensitive.

Employers learn when to start hiring, and workers how to settle in
20 PowerPoint slides and a logo as an image

A Zagreb recruitment agency placing workers from nine countries with Croatian employers had its website only as 20 PowerPoint slides, and its logo only as an image. The site had to win over both sides: employers, whose first question is how long hiring from abroad takes, and candidates, the main target of fake job offers sent in real agencies' names.
A bilingual site built from the slides, with the logo redrawn as SVG. A 3D globe links the nine countries to Zagreb: click one to see how many of its citizens live in Croatia and open its guide for workers, where every figure links to its official source. Employers pick the month they need workers, and a planner counts back to the latest month to start. Candidates get a page for checking an offer, with where to check a recruiter in each country. One contact form serves both, with a tab for each.
Every guide is made to be passed on: its link preview shows the flag and headline figure on WhatsApp or Facebook, and it saves as a clean PDF. The site sets no cookies and tracks no one, and enquiries are emailed from Paris, never stored.
